Forecasting Agricultural Output using Space Agrometeorology and Land based Observations (FASAL)
Under this project the following objectives were undertaken:
I. Developing improved crop yield forecast models using weather variables
II. Developing system for automization of forecasting
In this webtool, we have implemented the stepwise regression model based on weather variables along with other models such as ARIMAX, LASSO regression, Bayesian Regression and Random Forest model. In this webtool the calculation of weather indices from raw weather data process has been automized along with fitting of various models. At the end user is delivered with the best fitted model for the dataset fed into the webtool.
